Patna is the small village near this waterfall and so is named Patna Waterfall. It is a popular waterfall in Rishikesh where you can also see the limestone caves situated next to this Patna waterfall. It’s a beautiful journey from Lakshman Jhula to Neelkanth Temple Road. During the winter season, the waterfalls are almost dry and will not be advised to go in the winter. There are no signboards for waterfalls, so visitors have to be careful and confirm the route with the locals.

There is also a shop near the waterfall that sells tea/coffee /soft drinks and snacks. There is a larger crowd during the summer, especially on weekends; overall a good place for a day out or picnic.
