The ashram is approx 6 km from Rishikesh Bus Stand, from where you will get many options to reach the Ashram.

Almost 50 years ago, Rishikesh became famous on the global travel map when the Beatles came here looking for his “knowledge”, It is still one of the most popular tourist attractions in Rishikesh which is also known as the Chaurasi Kutiya Ashram. This was the ashram of the Mahesh Yogi and came to the limelight after the 4 members of the Beatles in 1968 visit here. You can see abstract murals on the ashram walls. Parmarth Niketan Ashram

Founded in the year of 1942 by Swami Shukdevanand Ji Maharaj, the ashram is the perfect place for peace and tranquility. It is an authentic Hindu Ashram located in a picturesque location near the bank of the spiritual Ganga River. The statue of Lord Shiva located in between the Ganga Ji adds more charm to the destination. Moreover, you will find a statue of Lord Hanuman, depicting their devotion to Lord Rama and Devi Sita, at the entry of the Parmath Ashram.

The best part of the Ashram is evening Ganga Aarti which will for sure take you to another world of peace and spirituality.

Sivananda Ashram

Located on the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayas, on the banks of the sacred River Ganga, the Ashram is a gifted destination for visitors and travelers. Geeta Bhawan has almost 1000 rooms, which are so clean and spacious, where one can stay peacefully and relax in a soothing environment. Satsangs, Bhajans, Kirtan and Bhagwat Path are being conducted here from time to time, which means one can feel the true spiritual atmosphere in the Ashram.
